About the blog:

I started this blog in 2005 when I was working as a styling assistant at a magazine. I needed somewhere to store all the info on new designers, trends and products that came my way every day, and figured that a blog would be a fast and easy way to solve this. As time went by, my readership grew, and the blog developed into something different... This is now a place where I share inspiring photos from the world's best stylists and photographers, all in a Scandinavian style.The focus is on interior styling and photography, rather than products. I'd like to think of this as my way of encouraging a more sustainable lifestyle, contrary to the encouragement to consume more and more, seen in most other media.

About me:

My name is Emma Fexeus, I'm a 34 year old professional blogger, freelance writer and interior stylist. I started out as a styling assistant working both for magazines and freelancing for various interior stylists, and I still do some occasional assisting jobs. After taking classes in Interior Styling at Central St Martins College and at Beckmans College of Design, I took the step to start doing my own styling jobs for magazines and advertising. You can see some of it here. In March 2013 I am releasing my first book; Northern Delights, Scandinavian Homes, Interiors and Design.
