Zakka
As {everybody} else in Blogland, I am totally amazed with the whole Zakka thing. I bought this tote last year from Shinzi Katoh and I simply adore anything Shinzi Katoh style.
I just saw they had added these posters to the site...gasp!

And who couldn't use a few more tote bags?

Lovely little cups and bowls. Don't they fit well with the Scandinavian style?

A little more colorfull is Decole. I still think it's quite wonderful. It gives a splash of color to our bright homes, don't you think? And it certainly matches my Seventies LOVE I got going on at the moment. Besides your kids will love it!

For purchasing do a Google search or take a look at Raindrops.
And to wrap up my week here at Emmas, I just have to mention my favorite book from Paumes - Children's Rooms "Stockholm" - it is sooo worth a buy! And I HAVE to get me some more....

I seek information, inspiration and just plain ol' visual eye candy! The top 6 are for home decoration, which is my absolute No. one hobby. I love (re-)arranging our home to suit our needs and make it as cozy and relaxed as possible. Here's a sneak peek around our house. It's not always as tidy, but I try to keep it some what un-cluttered, as I LIVE better that way. We're in the middle of a huge remodelling period and as soon as I get a little money, I will finish up the kid's rooms. The rooms are painted, my son's bed is made (still needs paint) and my daughters bed is painted. They both need a few rolls of wallpaper. I already bought it - flowers and Garfield - I'm just trying to build up the confidence, to actually put it up! Then they'll get some quilts, pillows and Mommy Art as the finishing touch....

No. 9+10 are for all things KIDS - clothing, stuff and living.

I keep all my magazines at hand, because I often run through them. Over and over. Some I'll keep "forever", most I keep for 2 years. That's what fits into my system.

Tomorrow I'm off to the post office. The new issue of Boligliv will be out and I have 2 friends waiting for them!

For the Love of Softies
I recently spotted this heard of animals over at Trust og Trust. They're made by the Danish company Broste Copenhagen and I find them quite... cute.

Livet er Lutter Lagkage

I am in awe of these gorgeous pillows made by Stine at www.lutterlagkage.dk. I love her way of putting colors, vintage fabric and stitchery together. I would love to see how she lives - must be colorful right? - and we all get the chance, to take a peek inside her home in the new book "Styling" by A. Villefrance and M. de Lange. (You can get it at Stines shop.) I?m sooo curious. I didn't even buy it yet!

It also features Tine Brask, who makes fabulous clothes and accessories for kids and Tine Kjeldsen from Tine K Home.

Rum der Rykker
My name is Kristina Karkov. I usually Blog at my own Blog karkovski, but I am super excited to Guest Blog here at Emmas amazing Design Blog! I usually share photo's about my kids, my crafty creations, our house and of course other peoples wonderful design.

I recently posted about this wonderful book, but I just have to share a bit more. Especially since it has SUCH amazing inspiration for kids rooms. Below you can see a little girl in her room, holding on to her fabulous bed linens. Similar bed linens can be bought here or here.

Then you have Milo's room - the family have two kids sharing a room, so they have made a wall with windows to keep the room bright, but divided.

We have a hole in the wall of the room that's going to be our daughters. The plan has always been to insert one of our old windows (once they've been replaced!), to get some light shining through. Also her lamp will be a star like that. I got a few from my Step Sister last Christmas, when she took down the Christmas decorations of the shoe shop she worked at - good girl. It's a bit beaten up by now, but still pretty cool. Oh and my son really wants those rings hanging down from the celing - a friend of his has some - yeah right! I can just imagine him all tangled up in those...

Kristina from Karkovski is starting her guest starring here tomorrow! She lives in a very cozy house in Denmark with her husband and two children, and she is a great crafter! She sews cool animals, makes cards with vintage paper that she sells on Etsy, she knits and she draws. And she writes about all of this in her blogg, in a way that sometimes makes me want to have her life...
She starts tomorrow, and I know that she is really excited about it, because she sent me the first posts two days ago already! I have edited the posts now, and I must say that I am as eager as she is to share them with you, because they are excellent! Kristina, it's an honour to have you here!
