At home with Hope

Hope is one of my favorite fashion brands. Their clothes have a great simplicity with cool details, the quality is great, and almost everything is black or grey. So it should come as no suprprise that I also love this home of one of the designers, Stefan Söderberg. I have posted about this home before, but I just couldn't resist showing it again when I saw the pictures over at Design & Form. Perhaps all of you haven't seen it?

    The white table in the second photograph is by Asplund. The table is called 'Bermuda' and is sold by Skandium in the UK (their winter sale is on at the moment and this table has had its price reduced). Their web-site is below:

    The colours and hues of that interior are just to die for! I'm drooling over various furniture pieces (including those gorgeous lamps in the 1st photo) and that floor - I swoon at the thought of having one similar in my home... I think I need to lie down now! ;)

    Emma, älskar din blogg! Hoppas att du som har så koll kan hjälpa mig. Har i min gamla lägenhet haft täckmålade vita brädgolv! De var blanka, tåliga och lättskötta och helt underbara. Har nu flyttat och ville ha likadana golv. Den gamla färgen finns inte kvar så vi målade på färgaffärens rekommendation med vattenbaserad halvblank. Blev inte bra, ganka matt och känsligt och inte alls lika snyggt. Vi ska nu måla om. Har du någon rekommendation om bra täckande vit golvfärg? Tack igen för underbar inspiration!!!

    The chairs in the second image are by Arne Jacobsen 'laminated chair no 4130', designed in 1955 and manufactured by Fritz Hansen - unfortunately they are no longer in production. A similar chair is still produced by Fritz Hansen and is called the 'Grand Prix' chair (designed in 1957 by Jacobsen). The difference between the two chairs is that the Grand Prix chair has metal rather than wooden legs. The 'store locator' on Fritz Hansens' website lets you know where you can buy this chair.

    The 'Orient Light' lampshade, pictured in the first photograph, was designed by Jo Hammerborg in 1963 and manufactured by Fog & Morup. A brushed aluminium version is for sale at Vampt. The shops website is pasted below.
