These are not usually colors I would choose, but I love the interpretation of the Biblical story made to look so peaceful despite being in fact quite horrific, and yet the threat lingers in the clouds overhead.
En Fleurs by Jeanne Audrey! I love the simplicity, the flowers and the retro colours. I already have petrol and curry in my living room and got plans to paint one wall pink, so it would fit perfectly! Pick me, pick me!

Red Apple form Limoon: I really like the atmosphere which is produced by the dark and cold greenish-blue colour. The girl just looks sweet.
I fell for Otsuki Yuji too! Anyone who has grown up close to the sea can relate to that dreamy feeling, the swell of the huge dark body of water that breathes beneath the stars...
Love Aggregate by Otsuki Yuji.
http://en.laffichemoderne.com/black-white-photography/237-black-white-sea-star-photo.html
Stars are one of my favourite motifs of all time and I also love the contrast between black and white. It is also very fitting to choose this poster at this time, because it is so cosmic, and the Age of Aquarius starts 11/11/11, the day the contest closes!
This is fate :)
My favourite is Jean-Christophe Sartoris'
"when u feel it for the first time, they cry or smile", I imagine they are my Skybert family.

Burton by Kea has that feeling of the northernmost part of Lapland and reminds of a drive to Kirkenes, Norway from Utsjoki, Finland.
I love the abécédaire by Audrey Jeanne and the one by Encre Violette, basically i love All the ABC prints... i cannot explain why, maybe because my father was a teacher, and that I had many ABC prints in my bedroom when I was a child... Now I collect them as treasures!
I really love the photography "Manga" by Juery Franck, it also reminds me something of my childhood, the light in the garden in the summer time...

because it looks like my sister!
..and i miss her!
http://en.laffichemoderne.com/photography-people-portrait/88-michela-heim-photography.html
I love the first one because of the yellow touch of color. All this white and that touch of yellow will make my living room so joyfully peaceful.
First thought was that I really need some color to my boring white hallway, but no, I didn't find anything colorful, I found Piscine n°4 by Helleux Mikaël, which dragged me in there instantly! Need this for my hallway! I am sure it will brighten it up!
El arca y el diluvio by Aimar Gustavo. The colours in this piece are so wonderful. I could see it brightening up a corner of the bathroom (where there is no window) or in a child's room!
What a great collection of prints!
I fell head over heels in love with the "around the world"-print: http://en.laffichemoderne.com/kids-wall-art/158-around-the-world-mercier.html
It reminds me of my childhood and my fantastic childminder.. I had forgotten, but now when I see this print, I'm pretty sure she had a similar one in the playroom, and I looooved to watch it. My older sister lived in the states at that time, and my childminders husband worked for the UN and traveled alot, so we often talked about this map and about the different countries..
Sweet memories.
How great wouldn't it be to have one of my own today! I almost get tears in my eyes thinking of this..
Thank you so much for this spontaneous reminder ;)
Mon petit imagier by Limoon is my favorite !
i would give it to my "brand new" nephew (2 months)
L'Alpes dû by Jeanspezial. Because there's a wolf with pink glasses! And it would look absolutely wonderful in my apartment and make me smile every day!
My favorite is "When the World Sleeps" it speaks to me of perspective! So easy to lose in this busy world. I love to go for long, thoughtful car drives down to the ocean and stop to look and realize how lucky I am to live in a place where I am surrounded by water, mountains and trees :)
Love 'Vintage Memories'. It make me 'feel' my grandmother, the music, the tea and lemon cookies. Can't beat that!
En Fleurs by Jeanne Audrey. First, it is peaceful and positive. I looked at the prints while thinking of my daughter so I was drawn to something that would make her feel good. Second, art for children always has the same effect on me that is intended for the children - it is inspiring, liberating and joyful.
i'm torn between the Weckmann Anke The Place Inbetween and any of the juan m's. i think it's the choice of colour and the graphic nature of them plus, and this is so very hard to define, they simply speak to me and thus make me happy.
I really like the one called 'Kim' by Alice Dufay. It reminds me so much of a child growing old, starting to be a little to big for the swing. Made me think about lost childhood :-)
I think the fading tones of the mountains in this photo are stunning: http://en.laffichemoderne.com/photography/152-mountain-landscape-photo.html
I really like Numberhood by Imeus Design because of the font and colors.
White circus 03 by Varsi Matteo...because it makes me happy:)
I savour the seconds captured in "La fille du cafe" - it inspires to live the moment, because any of them can have something magical. You just have to grasp it, like Auvity Cyril...
I would love to give 'Eat' by Bluecitrusart to my sweet boyfriend who cooked us dinner every night this year, when I was busy working and studying!
love, Eve
I absolutely LOVE L'Alpes dû (http://en.laffichemoderne.com/illustration/105-graphic-jeanspezial.html).
And I'm not being selfish when I tell you that I need it. I recently bought a bear illustration (http://www.etsy.com/listing/61333197/woolly-bear-8-x-11-print). He's name is Wolly and even though I treat him great he is not really happy in my warm apartment all dressed up with his gloves and wolly scarf. He misses his natural environment: The mountains. The winter landscape in L'Alpes dû would definitely do the trick. They would be all happy hanging there on my wall side by side.
Please help Wolly so that he can be the happy bear he once was!
Thank you.
Emma
Happywood
thanks for the giveaway! I love the photographs, but my favorites are "La Fille du café" by Auvity Cyril and "when u feel it for the first time, they cry or smile" by Sartoris Jean-Christophe.
The illustrations from Perdita Corleone are great too, my son will love it.
I spontanously liked 'kea - Burton' and why? The little cabin on the dunes - the sky - this kind of blue.....
they have such an unique collection, it makes it impossible for me to nail it down to less than two. my absolute favourites are: Juery Franck/
Marie-Kong &Anton/Monster Robot. not only because of the name.
I am so much in love with one of the collages called "Anton_
Monster Robot". It just spoke to me. I like the colours and the modern twist (i think it has) because i looooove pop art.

I really like the photography by Marc Loyon : San Sebastian, Espagne. I like pictures of people by the sea, especially when you can feel the heat, and especially in urban context. I'm fascinated by cities by the sea, when the beaches are so close to the buildings.
"Retro Summer Rainbow by Ardell Jena" is definitely my favorite photography because I always crave for bold colors + soft mood combination. This picture is the epitome of that & I want it :)
Thank you E + l'Affiche Moderne

My favourite one is Aggregate by Otsuki Yuji
Besides it would fit perfectly in my home ;-)
It also makes me realise how small I am and how large our galaxy is.
I love "Burton" by Kea. It reminds me of a place I went to this summer and it feels so good to remember the sun and the heat as winter comes !!
I found myself supremely attracted to Ostuke Yuji's black and white photograph "Aggregate." It made me excited and calm at the same time. Happy without thought. I love it.
This one: http://en.laffichemoderne.com/sea-water-photography/237-black-white-sea-star-photo.html
Yuki by Dufay Alice is definitely my favourite. I love the little girl in the picture, she is so innocent but there is also something a little sad about her.
La Fille du café by Auvity Cyril.
When I used to live in Boston, my family would go to a cute cafe that looked something like this. Unfortunately it has closed down and this print would not only brighten up my room, but also remind me of the past.
I really like the cat illustration by Correll Gemma. http://en.laffichemoderne.com/illustration/228-gemma-correll-cats-illustration.html
and
Ta Da! by Borrell Amy http://en.laffichemoderne.com/painting/229-circus-print-borrell.html
I'm about to graduate college and am really looking forward to finally moving out of the dormitories and getting an apartment of my own. These prints hold the exact aesthetic I want my future apartment to be. Really lovin' the simplicity and hued color palettes!
My favorite is "Yoshi" by Dufay Alice. I like it because it shows beauty in everyday situations. I also like the contrast between the lightness and simplicity i her body, and the darker complexity in her hair!
Dufay Alice by Yuki for it's simplicity, cleanliness and innocence.
I love love "In the forest by Imeus Design". I always had a thing for 3d like collage/photos. Also it's so playful and sweet. Would look great in my toddlers feature room!
I love the Blanca Gomez print because it makes me smile!
I really really like Erdeven by Juery Frank and the way it looks both idyllic and melancholic
I like "3D" by Leblanc Séverin for it's Stalinistic look, it's modern collage technique and it reminds me of Jacques Vilelglé's work.
I also like "International" by Rizk Kareem for it's rough loneliness feel.
The black one!
It reminds me of the sea at night, both beatiful and frightening. I feel small when I see it.
I love San Sebastian by Loyon Marc because when I first glanced at it, I immediately felt the warm sun of the Spanish coast and heard the birds squawking in the distance. This photograph is just so real to me, all the colors grab my attention and I can really connect with the subjects.
Le Chemin by Kea. Hard to decide, but I find this piece comfortably ambiguous. Could be peaceful, except that the wind is quite strong.
My favourite for me is When the World Sleeps by Dan-ah Kim. So simple but full of meaning, I know the feeling of thinking I must be the only person up. I wish the sky looked like that for me too. I also love Pirates by Doumont Gwenaëlle for my kids' playhouse's reading corner. There's so much to look at, and they can make up their own stories based on what they see. Fab!
My favourite is Erdeven by Juery Franck (http://en.laffichemoderne.com/nature-landscape-photography/117-grass-photography-juery.html).
It reminds me of the road where I used to play with my sister when I was a kid.It was in the mountains and the road seems to go straight to the sky, just like on this photo. And I really love those colours,so calm, just perfect.
Greets from Poland :)
G.
I love Pink Juliette en Guoguette. It's a happy, fat pink bunny! I mean, how can you not like that. I'll put it someplace fabulous.
My favorite is TA-DA by Amy Borrell, I recently found out there is a litte someone growing inside of me and the colors and the feelings of the poster give a soft dreamy feeling of just might be coming, I’d love to hang it on the wall when this little someone is born…well actually while already waiting!
I like this http://en.laffichemoderne.com/illustration/106-street-art-jeanspezial.html
Makes me think of summer by the sea, eating soft ice cream in a fab '50s bikini.
I like Friends from Ingela P Arrhenius. It's like seeing me and my best friend (me tall, she small) sitting on her sofa and talking all night.
I have been searching for online shop to buy her prints and now I found it. Thank you.
Mojca
Being a cat lover, "Cats of the World" rocks!
But I have a crush on "Aggregate", so pure and fascinating!
I like International by Rizk Kareem. The way he's made an old Lada automobile look beautiful is appealing!
I like International by Rizk Kareem because it features something unassuming and ubiquitous (here in Ukraine), a Lada automobile, and displays it in a beautiful way.
i love all imeus design and Arrhenius Ingela On stage!!!! it's very fun ant we could almost hear thair music!!!
I love all of Dufay Alice's work. Stunning simplicity. My favourite changes each time I look because they're all so beautiful.
My favorite is one of your favorites: "Aggregate" by Otsuki Yuji. I love the stark black-and-shite composition, and that the literal play of light against dark moves so strongly into the figural. Though part of its beauty is the suggestion of stars and the galaxy in the void of space, it has a warmer feel than that... the stars, though beautiful, are distant; this image suggests that, though surrounded by darkness, light can burst forth from it like bubbles.
