Design Hotel Week: Hotel Basico, Mexico

From all the hotels you've shown so far, this is the first one that makes me say WOW loud! A Latin American sensitivity perhaps? I love how they have transformed their "basic" (even humble) concept into a sophisticated look. Thanks for this great post!
Oh it's soooooo beautiful! Do you know the Azucar in Veracruz? It belongs to the same group (Grupohabita) like the Basico, I've done a post about it a few days ago. I want to leave right now :-)
I really don't know what to say about it. I do love concrete but I guess I like the combination of concrete with white even more ... the vieuw from the roof is really stunning though ;)
Great series.. !
I didn't think I'd be attracted to a place like this, but I can't get enough of it! Such a lovely change from the crisp white, clean spaces I'm generally attracted to
what an original and beautiful place! great discover, thanx ;o)
I visited Hotel Básico last Autumn (and also did a blog post about).
I also love the ambiance and design. What I find funnier is that for me (being a Mexican) more than an industrial feel, it makes me think on the Golden Age of Mexican Cinema (50´s) and other mex icons such as Mauricio Garcés...
oh and the food is also excelent!.
I had drinks on their rooftop bar on my honeymoon last November - it was amazing!!
I am utterly speech less. So fresh, so simple... a total escape.
absolutely breathless.
