I really need a bowl!

As soon as I saw this photo on Ditte Isager's blog I suddenly realised that I really need a low, wide bowl like this. You can just throw some nice random things in there and voila, a beautiful vignette! Isn't that one of the easiest styling tips you've ever heard?

    i used to collect rocks, and place them onto plates with flowers, and random other things :)

    i love the wide range of items on this bowl! so many beautiful textures, especially loving the piece of map, and that wishbone looking thing!

    Dear Emma! I have just discovered your blog. It is amazing! I love your style, black and white apartments etc. Especially thank you for pictures from Elle Interiør. In Poland we can only find polish, UK, italian, french and US (this one is terrible) editions of Elle Decoration. Now I can see more:)

    This made me remember a beautiful old wooden bowl of my late Grandparents with hints of an old yellow paint coating on the outside. It now lives in a drawer at my mother's place - maybe I can convince her to give it to me!
