Design and style from a Scandinavian perspective

Saturday Sweets

Perhaps I should rename this category "Weekend Treats" instead of "Saturday Sweets"? Because often enough I can't seem to find the time to create this post on Saturdays, and it comes up on Sundays instead... Anyway, here are your treats for the week, I hope you like them no matter what day of the week it is:

I really have no idea what the branches are, or if we have them in Sweden. :)

Christina, nope, ingen bäbis ännu, men det är 7 dagar kvar till bf, så jag kan vänta några dagar till utan att krevera...

Bittersweet is highly prized here, and I found out it is a native plant to the United States. It's very pretty; it's quit raining so I'm off to look for some soon.

Well, our Halloween this year was a strange one.

I won't say it was a non-event, but it went from being an entrenched tradition to...

well, let's say a scattering and a smattering.

Every year, for as long as we've had children, we've spent Halloween at my parents.

And they have the house brilliantly spooky, and the kids find money in their dinner,

and a ring in the brack, and they get to knock on the same doors

asI did with my brothers and sister and our friends.
