EMMAS DESIGNBLOGG

Design and style from a Scandinavian perspective

Saturday Sweets

Am I the only one who isn't done with the Christmas decorating yet? Perhaps there is someone else out there who is equally late, in that case this is for you! All you other well organized people can save these pictures for next years inspiration...

Takk Emma! It used to be tradition in Norway to decorate the christmas tree on the 23rd, and I'm sticking to that :-) Could have put up a few stars in the window, I know, but I'm afraid I'm late with that. Today, perhaps.

Hej Emma, thanks for this shared attention.. I'm not only late, I guess I would not find enough time to do anything great... just some paper deco, on the window... it's planned for today... I'll show then!! happy Sunday with your guys!! Lau from Lille

It's so great to hear that I'm not the only one who is a little behind on this! I'm thinking of making some paper snowflakes for the window, and hang up some baubles there as well. The only thing I've done so far is to fill to little bowls with moss and candles. Shame on me!

Janne, the Christmas tree usually comes up on the 23rd here too. But we aren't going to have a tree this year, because with too crazy kittens I believe that could turn out to be a rather messy affair... :)

What a lovely selection to get us in the mood! I haven't started yet either - I like to let the atmosphere build until the 22nd when we choose and put up our tree! I think it makes everything more special. So don't feel guilty!

Holy moly chairs used as wall decor! There's some awfully inspiring shots in there. I love the pink trees!

Afraid I haven't started yet, and this year will be quite minimalistic because of all the other projects going on. Good luck. :)
