Jag själv skulle hållt mig till fyra färger, brun-grön-orange och turkos. Men det blir säkerligen snyggt med alla med!
Thanks everyone for your input! I've tried different colour schemes now, but I think I'll stick with the first one, and perhaps take out the white fabric with tiny brown hearts. Other combinations are calmer, but they don't feel as much "me" as this mismatched one. :-)
Wow, those fabrics are beautiful and will fabulous together! Mismatched quilts always look so lovely and personal and as if every fabric tells a story. My favourite things in my home are two patchwork quilts my Grandmother made in the 60s which use oodles of different fabrics in lots of patterns and colours. If I was to make a quilt I would try to replicate my Grandmother's ones.
Thanks! Actually, two of the fabrics used to belong to my grandmother! It's the bottom one on the top pic, with the huge turqouise flowers and green leaves, and the white one with turqouise and green pigs.
The other fabrics are either thrifted, bought new or the kid's baby bedding that we don't have use for any more.

Jag skulle hålla mig till max två färger tex turkost och brunt. Eller endast inom en "färg", tex gul-orange eller grön-turkos.
Och så skulle jag satsa på att göra breda remsor istället för ett täcke med lappar. Mindre rörigt intryck och dessutom går det ju mycket snabbare :)

Själv gillar jag just det röriga och omatchade, så jag kommer göra ett kaos-lapptäcke. :-) Rutorna kommer vara olika stora, dels eftersom jag tycker det ser fint ut, och dels för att jag har så olika stora bitar av tygerna, en del finns det bara remsor av... Snabbt lär det gå ändå, jag är för slarvig för att göra något noggrannt. *s*

Lovely fabrics. I would leave out the brown with large pink flowers. To my quilting eye the flavor is not right with all the others. I think of my prints as flavors that complement each other.
